“Loved your CD. A beautiful collection of reflective pieces, and you’ve obviously got great rapport with the other players. Lots to like on it – your Waltz for Oz is stupendous (I also liked the 6/8 piece earlier on). As well as Abide With Me, did I not hear a reference to Bach’s Minuet in G in there as well; which like much of Bach’s secular music has a tinge of sadness if played sensitively? Wonderful stuff.”
“Everyone who has listened to your CD has absolutely loved it – it’s right up there with lots of Blue Note Stuff. Do you have another one planned? And when is your next gig?”

Really like the 2 Bossas, especially Bossa do Verde – somehow it has a feel of “waiting”, though I don’t know why. Matilda, although quite melancholy, is beautiful. I can hear how much effort you all must have put into the album.”
